How was your onboarding experience at 99?

Great! I was invited to an onboarding day a few days before joining 99 Advisory. It was an opportunity to meet the employees who were also joining the firm, and to discuss our respective career paths and ambitions within 99Advisory. I remember a very friendly atmosphere within the HR team and among the various directors.

And, as soon as I arrived at the firm, I was welcomed by my MOP (operations manager) who explained corporate culture, expectations, his own role – “which I consider very important!” – and he also gave me valuable advice on how to settle in very quickly.

What projects have you been tasked with?

Among my first projects was an AMF-type (Financial Markets Authority) audit within a management company, and a gap analysis of the GDPR regulations for a very good real estate investment company.

How does the firm help you grow?

By allowing me to take responsibility for my projects and entrusting me with high-level contacts (Business Heads, Risk and Compliance Chief Officers, CFOs etc.), while being closely supported by my manager and MOP.
It’s basically an ideal environment for developing your skills quickly!

How do you fit into the 99 Advisory values?

I joined the firm quite recently, but I’ve already seen how hard the management team and the HR team are working to bring the 99 Advisory values to life: « Meritocracy, Ambition, Respect, Kindness, Excellence, Responsibility ».

All these values make up the firm’s identity, and I’m passionate about respecting them, as I completely identify with them. « Meritocracy » in particular is a point that speaks to me on a personal level. For me, everything in life must be earned, and professional recognition on the basis of merit seems healthy and fundamental both for employee fulfilment and for the firm’s development!

What do you like about the corporate culture?

The firm organises many events (breakfast, team lunches, the summer party…) to allow consultants who work on different missions and with different clients to meet and discuss their experiences. The firm also boasts great cultural diversity. More than 20 nationalities have joined forces! A valuable asset on an individual and group level!
